Equipment for Cutting the Cheese

(see the running order)

  • N.B. *We do have a mixer but was not intending to use it as the show was conceived as a low-volume and virtually unplugged line-up (only solo vocal needing gain controls).
  • We were intending to use the Brookmill PA for the vocals.
  • However, we are more than happy for an engineer to bring their own gear (e.g. mixer).
  • We have a small amp for each instrument - guitar / mandolin / keyboard / bass / double bass
  • Without a drum kit we didn't think it necessary to amplify accordion or percussion....but...<?>
  • The percussionist only plays on 3 songs throughout the whole evening. There is no drum kit.
  • However, professional engineers may well find it easier to put more through a mixing desk<?>
  • Backing tracks for 2 vocalists will run from an iPAD triggered by footswitch.
  • We have a vocal mike (SM58) with several stand/s & XLR cables etc. with little call for BVs or instrument mikes
  • But we could also bring mikes / amps / leads / etc. required)
