which advocates the re-purposing of education to address BIG issues.

Learning in a micro-local communities....

...academia would become a network of micro-local universities...
...they would be tiny, diverse, post-disciplinary & innovative...
...grassroots organisations developing better ways to live...

with an autodidactic approach...

...an unschool approach would encourage bespoke learning for all
...learners would learn to learn more playfully, imaginatively & autonomously.
...each individual would learn how to become more independent, resourceful and creative.

that brokers complementary learning...

...micro-universities would broker creative learning partnerships...
...in order to catalyse our collective response to global emergencies...
...they would raise global consciousness and seed a synergy of synergies

Head / Hand / Heart / Humour

...students would experience a range of learning approaches.
...e.g. they would seek to learn with head, hand, heart and humour

Paradigm change

...their contagious optimism would spread, diversify and co-evolve...
...this would help us transition towards an ecocentric paradigm...
...they would become a collaborative network for ecological wisdom.

...no fixed curriculum

...coaching would be tailored to each individual learner's aspirations & needs
...learners might adapt our rudimentary working definition of shamanism.
...learners would contribute what they know to a shared curriculum

harnessing team neurodiversities

...ideally, mutual learning partnerships would be expected to innovate on behalf of society.
...learners would work in self-governing, neurodiverse teams (4 to 6 individuals).
...knowledge exchange would also be generative, reciprocal and sympoietic.

Microscopias and macroscopias

...formal teaching would reconcile the universal (time/space) with celebrating the 'here and now'.
...this would create a relaxed space (1 billion years of free sunshine) in which to reimagine survival.

Affordable

...the programme is expected to be affordable / pay-it-forward / repayable upon completion.
...some applicants may be offered a free or reduced fee place.
...some of the first learner cohort may be refugees from other places.
